UGREEN USB 3.0 A Male to Female Extension Cable 3m, Black

UGREEN USB 3.0 A Male to Female Extension Cable 3m, Black

Product Description

The UGREEN US129 USB 3.0 Extension Cable in black, 3 m, is the longer US129 option. Three metres lets you place a USB 3.0 drive, hub or camera well away from the computer while keeping a USB 3.0 link.

The wrong connector, or a cable that stops short of the desk, leaves a printer, drive or accessory unusable. The UGREEN US129 USB extension cable (3m) connects your devices over USB 3.0. It is made for home and office users who connect printers, drives, phones and other USB accessories.

Key Features and Benefits

• Extra reach: Male-to-female extension that lengthens the reach of a USB device such as a flash drive, webcam or receiver.
• USB standard: USB 3.0, backward compatible with older USB ports.
• Length: 3m between the two ends.
• USB 3.0: a USB 3.0 extension cable.
• Male cable: per the product name.
• 3 m length: places a USB 3.0 device across a desk or to a monitor arm or shelf.
• Black: a plain black finish.

Made for Life in Nairobi and Across Kenya

Connect a printer to a PC at a Nairobi office, extend a USB receiver to the front of a desk, or link a phone to a flash drive when the laptop is not around.

Buying and Setup Tips

• Check the connector on each device (USB-A, USB-B, USB-C or Micro-B) before choosing the cable.
• Pick a length that reaches without pulling on the ports.
• Keep USB cables away from sharp bends so the connectors last.
• Longer USB 3.0 cables can be more sensitive to quality; avoid chaining multiple extensions.
• Plug it straight into a USB 3.0 port on the computer rather than an unpowered hub, and avoid daisy-chaining with other extensions.
• A cable of this length is good for placing a drive or hub on a shelf, but very high-draw devices may still prefer a shorter run.

Who It's Perfect For

• Offices and shops with printers and scanners
• Students and laptop users
• Technicians and IT support
• Phone and tablet owners using flash drives

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it work with my device?
It works when the connectors on your devices match the connector types in the product name.

Is a longer cable slower?
USB cables have a practical length limit. That is why very long runs use an active extension cable with a chipset.

What can I do with 3 m?
Put a drive or hub on a shelf or across a table.

Is there a shorter version?
Yes, the US129 is also listed at 1.5 m.
